Replit's inaugural conference was built around a single idea: that code is a creative act.

Vibecon opens today in New York City. When they asked us to launch it, we took that literally. The brief was to make that idea impossible to ignore before anyone walks through the door, so we used Replit's own tools to do it, bringing to life a full campaign across New York City, including a Times Square takeover.

What you won't see online: a real-time interactive installation running live at the welcome wall. Imagined by Brand New School's creative technology team, it felt like the right way to greet people at an event about code meeting creativity.
