An extensive library of contextual assets allowed internal and external groups to feel represented, while preserving the platform's democratic spirit. The new tools work alongside the brand's iconic Bitmojis, while distancing themselves from Snap Chat in-app filters and properties.
Digital Stickers
We also created a library of emotive stickers for use across various communications, as well as a deep library of 'Snap Doodles' to enhance the stickers. The Snap Canvas System visually reflects the brand's principles, establishing necessary standards while preserving the creatively democratic spirit of Snap.
Problem
How do you create visual structure for a brand that embodies self-expression and creative freedom?
Insight
Within the Snap community are themes of: creativity, friendship, art/visual culture, photography, commerce, work-life, music, sports, pop-culture, technology, diversity, entertainment, etc.
Solution
We created a branding system that repositions the Snap Ghost from a character to a creative lens. A symbol for the diverse creativity that happens on the Snap platform.
