Amalgamated NY approached BNS to create this stop-motion film that taps into the mystical mind of Ben & Jerry’s world-famous spokes-cow, Woody. The first question we asked ourselves was "How we could arouse the European audience?" The answer: By having our beloved Woody stage a journey to the “Karamel Core” of the ice cream. After months of putting Woody in all sorts of precarious positions, her endurance paid off.
Process
The majority of the visuals were created using traditional stop-motion. Handmade Cow and sculpted ice cream models were shot over a few days on a stage in London with the UK's preeminent animation talents.
