Brumby was part of the BNS team in the early days of the studio, helping establish the studio’s ethos and attitude with his distinct style and playful humor. His unique approach merges live action, motion graphics, and 3D animation into compelling, award-winning campaigns. Brumby has directed music videos for David Bowie and Scissor Sisters, wholly-created in-show content for HBO’s “The Leftovers,” and premiered his short “Cruising Electric” at Sundance (which went on to win NY’s Outfest). Prior to returning to BNS, Brumby was a co-founder and ECD at National Television, a bi-coastal production company. His kinetic aesthetic plays through his work, which has received top awards: Clio, Art Directors Club, Type Directors Club, AIGA, Telly, and Promax/BDA, among others. A graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, he’s a Texan, a father of two, and a punk rock veteran.
