Abatemarco joins the Brand New School team from an established history in the live action, VFX, and motion graphics industry. Hailing from past EP positions at MPC Creative and Stardust, Abatemarco brings over fifteen years of industry experience to Brand New School’s creatively charged culture.
Abatemarco’s hire comes on the heels of Brand New School’s division expansion and Managing Partner Devin Brook’s return to the helm of the New York office. After working with top agencies including TBWA/Chiat/Day, Deutsch, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, The Martin Agency, and Leo Burnett on campaigns for notable brands such as Nissan, Blackberry, Google, Adidas, American Airlines, and the Grammy’s, to name a few, Abatemarco’s expertise will be invaluable to Brand New School’s commercial work.
“I have been a fan of Brand New School for a long time,” notes Abatemarco. “I’ve always admired the flexibility they have from a creative standpoint. A lot of companies get pigeonholed visually, but BNS has thrived at keeping things fresh and has avoided being labeled because of they have a culture where creative ideas trump everything else, which is important to me.”

Brook will continue to oversee the caliber of innovative and award-winning work that Brand New School has produced under his management as Executive Producer of the company’s live action production, design, animation and VFX. He also spearheaded the newly formed interactive division, bns.labs.
Devin has also shared his rich industry experience as a guest lecturer at the NYU/Wharton/Columbia/MIT Media and Entertainment Conference, SCAD’s Inspire Conference and the Columbia Business School, and as a panelist at AICP conferences.
